The Kornit Direct on Garment printers are the first production units of their kind that are designed to operate on a 24/7 basis. State of the Art technology has been used to manufacture these printers. The machines have been designed and built from the ground up using a box beam frame that virtually eliminates vibration, linearized electro-magnetic motors for optimal efficiency and low maintenance, Spectra printing heads that are manufactured for industrial use and an innovative, yet simple ink system.

The beauty of the Kornit printer is that it is designed to be operated by one person without any need for film, screens, etc. There are no set up costs. Kornit inks are the lowest cost, direct-to-textile inks on the market. Personalized prints and variable data imaging has never been so easy to accomplish. Tests can be immediately evaluated and changes implemented without delay. Garment decorators can earn substantial profits imaging short and medium size runs.

Kornit has developed a unique garment ink specifically formulated for digital printing that delivers superior results not seen in the market today. The water based CMYK and White inks work in combination with a wetting solution during the curing process, causing the pigments of the ink to stick to the fabric. This special ink can be printed on many types of fabric (up to two inches thick) that can stand traditional curing conditions, such as 100% cotton, cotton/poly blends, Lycra, silk, canvas, linen, etc. Wash fastness of the ink is very good with an ISO rating of 4 on a scale of 5 (the same as plastisol inks). The inks are highly stretchable, non-cracking and have a soft hand. The white ink is used as base layer for the CMYK inks and also as a Super White highlight.

The Kornit commercial grade digital textile printers are available in dual or single pallet versions. The Kornit 931 series machines have dual pallets with a maximum printing area of 16” x 20”. They can be special ordered with larger pallets for an upcharge with a maximum printing area of 20” x 28.” The new 932NDS single pallet machine has a maximum printing area of 14" x 18" and is loaded with many of the same features and benefits of the dual pallet machines, but priced to meet more moderate budgets. Additional pallets can be purchased for printing on sleeves, children’s tops, cut pieces, bags, etc.

Engineered to provide affordable printing with high quality performance, and the latest technology under the bonnet, the Kornit 921 Breeze industrial and yet small D.O.G printer is designed to allow garment decorators to use high-end technology benefits at entry-level costs. Upholding its exclusive, value-added industrial design, this new digital unit is capable of printing on both dark & light garments and includes an automatic pre-treatment system integrated into the machine. Moreover, Kornit continues its partnership with Spectra by featuring again its unique ink system that includes 6 industrial print heads (CMYK and white), 256 nozzles included in each. The Kornit 921 Breeze is easy to operate and to maintain. The printer can be hooked up to any computer, desktop or laptop, without the need for an air compressor, and can basically be operated from almost any site- office, shop or factory. The printer uses Kornit's proprietary pigmented ink and the Kornit QuickP Ripping application.
